We are very pleased to inform that our proposal for the SME 4.0 follow-up project "SME 5.0" application has been positively assessed by the European Commission and will be funded. We look forward to working together in a global network of experts over the next four years to ride the wave towards smarter, more sustainable, and human-centric manufacturing in SMEs.
On 20 June 2022 the Free University of Bozen–Bolzano hosted the final meeting of the EU project project "SME 4.0 - Industry 4.0 for SMEs". The event, which took place at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, allowed professors, researchers, Ph.D. students, and industrial partners to exchange fruitful research findings on topics related to the successful implementation of Industry 4.0 in small and medium-sized enterprises.
